Privacy policy
What we store about you, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted. Last updated: 30 October 2026.
Ace Rivals is not the official game. It is a private server run by volunteers and is not affiliated with MasangSoft or any publisher of AirRivals. This policy covers only this site and our game server.
Who is responsible
The Ace Rivals team runs this site and the game server. You reach us on Discord.
What we store
- Account: account name, password (stored only as a PBKDF2 hash, never in plain text), registration date, and the e-mail address if you give one.
- Registration request (when registration needs approval or e-mail confirmation): the details above, your Discord name and note if you write them, the language you used and the IP address the form was sent from.
- Password reset: when a reset link was asked for, from which IP address and whether it was used. The link itself is stored only as a hash.
- Game: characters, items, credits (Mcoin), in-game messages and the game server's logs, including connection times and IP addresses.
- Site logs: the web server writes IP address, time and page of each request; login and registration attempts are counted per IP for a short time to stop abuse.
- Cookies:
lang(your language, one year) and, after you log in,ar_session(your login, 12 hours). No tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
Why
To create and run your account, let you log in to the game and the site, send account e-mails (activation, password reset), keep the game fair (rule enforcement, bans) and keep the servers secure. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Brevo sends our e-mails, so it receives your e-mail address and the message.
- Our server host (a VPS in Turkey) stores the data. Client downloads may be served from Cloudflare R2, which sees the downloader's IP address.
- Discord sees what you write on our Discord server under Discord's own policy.
- Staff see account data in the admin panel when they need it (support, bans, credit requests).
How long
Account and game data are kept while the account exists. Registration requests that were rejected or never confirmed, and used or expired reset links, are kept for a limited time as an abuse record. Before the official launch the beta data (characters and items) may be wiped. Ban records may be kept after an account is deleted to stop ban evasion.
Your rights
You can ask what we store about you, have it corrected, or have your account deleted, together with its characters and e-mail address. Write to support [at] acerivals.com or to staff on Discord; to confirm the account is yours we may ask you to log in or answer from its e-mail address. You can change your password yourself on My account. These rights follow the Turkish personal data law (KVKK) and, for players in the EU, the GDPR.
Children
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you are younger, ask a parent before you register.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top and announce larger changes in the news and on Discord.
